Hot honey halloumi

Cut a block of halloumi into thick rectangles and soak in hot water for 10 mins.

Heat a pan on high heat and splash in water until it beads instead of evaporating instantly. Lower the heat to medium and add a splash of oil.

Fry the halloumi until golden on both sides.

Add lemon juice, honey, and chilli flakes, then cook until bubbling.

Serve while warm and tender.Optional: add extra honey and reduce into a sauce.
